DESIGNER. WRITER. ACTIVIST.

Born and raised in India, my work is a culmination of centuries of Indian art, storytelling, resistance, ideologies, and culture rooted in community-building and anti-colonial existence. Everything I create is a continuation of a long lineage of work by Indian artists, curators, writers, activists and thinkers.

My practice is influenced by critical race and gender studies; and diasporic visual cultures. It is multivalent in form and expression but is always driven by the reimagining and reclaiming of visibility.

I hold a Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Communication Design (2023) from the Emily Carr University of Art+ Design.

I am the recipient of:

  • Lieutenant Governor’s Medal for Inclusion, Democracy and Reconciliation (2023).

  • ECU Graduation Awards for Anti-Racism and Social Justice – Design (2023).

  • Emily Carr Alumni Association Graduation Award for Community Engagement (2023).
